Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data SkyScope collects, why, and what you can do about it. “We” means the operator of SkyScope. Contact: keysmasterspersonal@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account: email address, username, and a hashed (not readable) version of your password. If you sign in with Google, the email address and basic profile Google shares with us.
• Sign-in sessions: a session token stored as a hash, timestamps, and a hashed version of your IP address, used to keep you signed in and protect your account.
• Your settings: filter profiles, budget and alert preferences.
• Linked Minecraft client: if you link the mod, your Minecraft username and UUID, a device name, the mod version, and when the device was last seen. If you turn on inventory sync in the mod, your in-game inventory, purse and current in-game location for your linked profile.
• Discord: if you link Discord, your Discord user ID.
• Server logs: IP address, request path and time, kept for a short period for security and fixing problems.
• Payments (paid plans): handled by our payment provider. We receive the plan, status and billing country, not your full card details.

The auction and sales data SkyScope shows comes from Hypixel’s public API. It includes the Minecraft IDs of sellers, which Hypixel publishes. We use it only to show and price auctions.

Why we use it

• To run your account and the Service, including sending flips to the website and your linked mod.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
• To handle payments and meet legal and tax obligations.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on performing our contract with you (running your account), our legitimate interest in security, and legal obligations for payment records. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help run SkyScope, under their own privacy obligations: our hosting provider (Google Cloud, servers in the United States), Google if you choose Google sign-in, Discord if you link Discord, and our payment provider for paid plans. We may disclose data if the law requires it. Your data may be processed in the United States.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s local storage for settings such as your watchlist. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example payment records for tax). Server logs are overwritten automatically after a short period.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. You can also object to our use of it. Email keysmasterspersonal@gmail.com from the address on your account. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have similar rights, and we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.

Age

SkyScope is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Passwords, session tokens and device tokens are stored as hashes, and connections use HTTPS. No system is completely secure, so use a unique password.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will tell you in the Service before the change applies.
